![]() I also carry several thicker lengths of clear PVC hose, for use on vehicles where it will work. The down side of using thin hose is that it takes forever to move any decent amount of gas through it! I use refrigerator water line for this purpose, with the inserted end cut at a sharp angle to make it less likely to snag on something while it's being inserted. ![]() Some vehicles have a "rollover valve" or screen in the filler hose that prevents any siphon hose from being inserted.Ī thin, rigid hose will work in some situations where thicker, softer hose won't. On some vehicles, the filler neck takes a really twisty path down to the gas tank - which makes it hard to get any sort of hose in. ![]() It depends a lot on how your Jeep is designed. ![]()
